Introduction to the function of playing USB contents on the TV monitor/IPTV monitor
We will introduce you to the function of playing USB contents on the TV monitor/IPTV monitor.
You can use the USB terminal of the TV monitor/IPTV monitor to play photo, music and video contents saved on the USB without booting the PC.
(Function supportability depends on each model.)
Before you can play the file, connect a power adapter to the TV monitor/IPTV monitor.
Turn on the TV monitor or IPTV monitor.
Connect an external USB HD or memory to the USB port at the rear of the monitor.
The location of USB port may differ by model.
Refer to the user manual.
How to play the contents using Use My Media menu.
If you connect a USB device to the USB port of your monitor, the monitor will show the message [New external device is connected. Will you use this device?]
Using the directional key on the remote controller, select [Yes] and press the button.
Press the Home button on the remote controller.
Using the directional keys on the remote controller, select My Media menu.
In My Media menu, select Every File/Photo/Video/Music.
Select a desired file in the list.
You can enjoy your selected file.
By setting the option while viewing media files, you can control how it is played.
How to view photos while using my media
Press the Home button on the remote controller.
Using the directional keys on the remote control, select My Media menu.
Select Every File in My Media menu.
In the Every File menu, select a photo and view it.
How to play video while using my media.
Press the Home button on the remote control.
Using the directional keys on the remote controller, select My Media menu.
Select Every File in My Media menu.
In the Every File menu, select video and play it.
How to play music while using my media
Press the Home button on the remote controller.
Using the directional keys on the remote control, select My Media menu.
Select Every File in My Media menu.
In the Every File menu, select music and play it.
How to remove a USB device from the monitor
Press the Home button on the remote control.
After selecting a USB storage device from the external input device list, press the Eject button to remove it.
After checking the message saying that the USB device is removed, separate the USB storage device from the monitor.
After selecting to remove the USB storage device, you cannot read from it.
Cautions for using a USB storage device
In case of USB storage device with a built-in auto detection program or using its own driver, it may fail to operate properly.
Some of USB storage device fail to operate smoothly or will not operate at all.
Only use a USB storage device with a NTFS file system or FAT32 format provided from Windows.
In case of external USB HD type, you are recommended to use a device not exceeding rated voltage of 5V/rated current of 500mA.
You are recommended to use a USB memory stick of 32GB or less and a USB HD of 1TB or less.
If the USB HD with the power saving function fails to operate properly, turn off the USB HD and turn it on again. It will operate properly.

Data in a USB storage device can be damaged, so make sure to store critical files in other location by making a backup copies.
