        <p>First, check if the adapter and the power cord are correctly used and fixed.<br>
            If you are using an adapter, then check if the adapter jack is correctly connected to the monitor.<br>
            If the adapter cable is too tight, or the jack is loose due to the surrounding conditions, then power supplies can be failed.<br>
            Therefore, you are recommended to nicely arrange the adapter cables based on the considerations of the surrounding.</p>

<h3 class="sub-tit">How to connect a cable</h3>
        <p>
            Look into the box provided when you purchased it first. You can find the box or vinyl bag containing the accessory cables.<br>
            Within the accessory cable box, you can find necessary cables for video playing such as HDMI cables, display port cables and so on.<br>
            If you want to display video properly, you are recommended to use the cable provided in the package.<br>
            Connect the cable to the monitor while making sure it is in accordance with the desired interface.<br>
            If you don’t use the cable provided in the product package, then there can be problems in the screen display.</p>        
<h3 class="sub-tit">How to set each input</h3>
        <p>
            Using the cable provided in the package, connect the monitor. You can see the pop-up window guidance message.<br>
            In the pop-up window guidance message, you can select either [Yes] or [No] and if you want to use it, then select [Yes].<br>
            If the pop-up guidance text is not displayed after connecting the cable, then you can do the manual setting.<br>
            Press the center of the joystick button to launch the OSD menu. Press the left button to enter the input setting window.<br>
            Once you successfully entered the input setting window, select the desired interface and play video.</p>        
<h3 class="sub-tit">How to set the resolution</h3>
        <p> 
            In the background of your PC, right click with the mouse button to launch the pop-up window where you can set the screen resolution.<br>
            After launching the screen resolution setting window, select the desired resolution and display it.<br>
            After completing the setting of resolution, you can also set the vertical frequency. Go to the Advanced Settings tab and click the monitor to set the desired range of vertical frequency.<br>
            To support the best HDMI environment, the LG UHD monitor uses the [HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color] function with more clear image expressions.<br>
            You must first set the [HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color] function to [On] before you can display vivid and clear images on the monitor with 4K/60Hz.<br>
            If you cannot select 4K/60Hz on your PC, then change the monitor setting as follows.<br>
            First, access from the monitor menu in the following order.<br>
            Set Circular OSD → Video → Screen Adjustment  → HDMI Ultra HD deep Color [On].<br>
            If the screen display is cut off, then proceed as follows.

            ※ First of all, check what is the maker of the graphics card for the PC that you use.<br>
            Proceed to set the environment in such a way suitable for the graphics card maker.

            <p><strong>Intel product group</strong></p>

                First of all, at the website of Intel, download the Intel graphic control panel program and install it.<br>
                After that, run the Intel graphic control panel and select the display.<br>
                In the display setting, select to maintain the aspect ratio and press Apply.<br>
                In case of AMD product group, proceed in the following steps.<br>
                At the website of AMD, download the AMD control panel program and install it.<br>
                After that, run the  AMD control panel and select the display.<br>
                After selecting All Panels in the expansion mode of the display setting window, set the HDMI expansion rate to 0%.
            </div>
            <p><strong>NVIDIA product group</strong></p>

                At the website of NVIDIA, download the NVIDIA control panel program and install it. After that, run the NVIDIA control panel and select the display. After selecting the background screen size and location adjustment in the display settings window, deactivate scaling, full size setting and override setting in scaling mode.

<h3 class="sub-tit">How to adjust video and screen color</h3>
        <p>
            Press the center of the [Joystick] button to launch the window to the OSD menu.<br>
            After accessing the menu from the window, you can see the Video item.<br>
            After accessing the [Color Control] menu, you can change the color temperature. Set it to the desired color temperature.<br>
            You can change the RGB color related hue/saturation. Enter the [6 Color Control] menu to set the proper level.<br>
            Level is set to 50 by default and it is in the range of 0 to 50.<br>
            If your eyes are tired while reading internet newspaper or reading e-Book, then you are recommended to use the read mode of the video menu.<br>
            Press the center of the [Joystick] button to launch the window to the OSD menu.<br>
            After accessing the menu from the window, you can see the Video item.<br>
            Once you accessed the [Picture] menu, the read mode will be activated. If you select the read mode, then the brightness will be changed for optimal brightness levels and colors.<br>
            If you think the screen is little dark despite switching to the max brightness setting, then check if the Smart Energy Saving mode is activated.<br>
            [Smart Energy Saving] mode is used to reduce the power consumption by allowing the monitor to automatically control its brightness when playing video.<br>
            If the [Smart Energy Saving] mode is activated, then in order to optimize the power consumption, brightness is adjusted, thus you might feel it is little too dark. So, please turn off the function.<br>
            To deactivate the [Smart Energy Saving] mode, enter the OSD menu and go to the General tab. You can activate or deactivate the function there.<br>
            If the problem persists after taking actions discussed above, then proceed to reset the monitor to the factory setting.<br>
            If you proceed to reset it, it will be reverted to the factory setting, thus you can access the OSD menu to reset the setting.<br>
            After accessing [General] in the OSD menu, run the Reset menu. It will be reset to the factory setting.
