Causes and Symptoms
- The circuit breaker for the outdoor unit is tripped.
CH05 error occurs when there is a problem in communication between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit for
the air conditioner.
The ceiling mounted type air conditioner might have a circuit breaker for the indoor unit separated from a
circuit breaker for the outdoor unit.
If the circuit breaker for the outdoor unit is tripped, then a CH05 error will occur.
Try this
Check if the circuit breaker for the outdoor unit is tripped.
➔ Even if the indoor unit is powered up, as long as its circuit breaker is tripped, an error will occur.
If the circuit breaker for the outdoor unit is tripped, then trip the circuit breaker for the indoor unit as
well and wait for 3 minutes and revert the both circuit breakers to normal at the same time.
※ If there is no dedicated circuit breaker installed for the outdoor unit or if the circuit breaker keeps getting tripped even if you lift it, then it requires inspection by a professional service manager.
