indoor unit’s fan, helping to inhibit the growth of bacteria.
This sterilization feature is available only on certain models and can
be turned on or off using the remote control.
It can also operate together with the AI Dry function.
What does the UVnano function do?
- While the fan is running, the UV LED works to reduce bacterial growth on the fan’s surface.
- The UVnano function automatically stops when the product is powered off.
- If the AI Dry function is activated, the UV LED will operate at the same time AI Dry begins.
How to set the UVnano function using the remote control
- Press the Settings button on the remote control. Select UV and set it to ON.
- When the “UV” icon appears on the ceiling-type display, the function is active.
Precautions
- If the UV LED indicator on the display blinks, the UV lamp may need inspection.
- If the same issue occurs after unplugging and reconnecting the power cord, please contact the LG Electronics Service Center.
