Causes and Symptoms
- The filter is clogged.
- The protective vinyl is attached.
If there is dust, a foreign object or an obstacle in a place through which air from the air conditioner passes, a louder sound of air blowing may be heard.
Try this
Did you clean the ultra-fine filter of the air conditioner?
A contaminated filter may cause decreased cooling capacity, noises or condensation.
If it’s been more than a month since you cleaned the ultra-fine filter, turn off the air conditioner and
clean the filter.
Did you remove the protective vinyl?
➔ If the protective vinyl is still attached to the air conditioner, remove it.
When the air conditioner is delivered, it is packaged using Styrofoam and vinyl in order to protect the
product.
Using the air conditioner without completely removing the protective vinyl may cause a noise such as vinyl
flapping in the blown air.
Check if the protective vinyl remains on the air conditioner, and, if so, remove it completely.
