[LG air conditioner ThinQ] Can I use 2.4GHz or 5GHz when connecting with LG ThinQ?

Troubleshooting

Try this

What is the 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual band?

5GHz Wi-Fi is used in my house, but should I connect to 2.4GHz?

LG products only support 2.4GHz communication. (5GHz is not supported)
2.4GHz is more stable and can be connected over longer distances than 5GHz.
In addition, it is less interfered with by failure/obstacles, enabling more stable communication.
On the router, both 2.4GHz and 5GHz can be used at the same time.

How can I distinguish between 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi?

Only 5GHz Wi-Fi is shown in the Wi-Fi list.

Normally, when the router is installed initially, it is configured to support the 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual band.
In general, 5GHz is separately indicated after the Wi-Fi SSID (wireless network name), and the frequency without a separate indication is the 2.4GHz frequency.
Select and set 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

※ If you have changed the SSID separately (when the frequency name is deleted while changing), it is difficult for the LG Customer Center to verify it separately.
Check with your mobile carrier.
