[LG Dryer installation] I am curious about the installation environment for the dryer.

Troubleshooting

Try this

Gas type Dryer

➔ The installation location should be well-ventilated, and the distance between the exhaust duct and the wall should be at least 30cm.

※ Drying performance may deteriorate if ventilation is poor.

Install the hood facing down to prevent rainwater and condensed water from entering. (Inclination angle of about 5°)

Install exhaust duct and wall distance 30cm with hood facing down 5°

Electric Dryer

➔ The installation location should be well-ventilated, and the distance between the exhaust duct and the wall should be at least 30cm.

If it’s not ventilated well, the air temperature around the unit will rise and the condenser cannot be cooled.
A distance of 30cm or more is ideal, but a distance of 10cm or more will not affect the performance.

If you are installing it in a laundry room, the vents must be positioned above or below, or there should be a comb-shaped ventilator.

Exhaust duct and wall distance greater than 30 cm, vent at the top
Note
It is not recommended that the dryer is installed in the following locations:
Room other than a laundry room: The likelihood of noise, an increase in room temperature during the summer, and dampness on the floor could be considerable.
Bathroom: Moisture in the bathroom/shower can cause product failure.
Others (Outside): Sunlight, cold outdoor temperatures in winter, and high temperatures in summer can all lead to product failure.
