[LG dryer - residual water] Should I remove residual water every time I run the machine?

Troubleshooting

You don’t have to remove residual water every time.

➔ However, do remove residual water when you will not be using the machine for a long time, and during periods of below-zero temperatures in winter.

Condenser dryers, regardless of the manufacturer or the types of condenser washing, leave some residual water after they have finished drying.
Through recent improvements made in the structure of the pump cover, most residual water is drained while operating, but some water may still remain in the bottom of the dryer.
This small amount of residual water will be drained the next time you run the machine. So, you don’t have to drain it every time.
However, if you will not use the machine for a long time, it is recommended that you remove any residual water through the safe drain hose.
In addition, at the below-zero temperatures of winter, the residual water may freeze and thus the product may not operate. Removing the residual water through the safe drain hose after drying may help prevent any water from remaining in the bottom of the product and that water freezing inside the hose.

Open the drain hose cap and remove any residual water
