Causes and Symptoms

  • The product is powered off.
  • The wireless router is not connected to the Internet.
  • The wireless router has been replaced with another, or the configuration has been changed.
  • The wireless router has been moved to another position.
  • Connection is unstable due to the network environment.

The product is powered off or cannot be connected due to a network failure. Power on the product and check the network connection for any abnormality. Can you power on the product when the popup message appears? Is the router connection normal? If not, check and find the cause.

Is the product powered off?

➔ Network connection can be established only when the dryer is powered on.

Is the wireless router (AP) not connected to the Internet?

➔ Check if the wireless router is powered off, or the LAN cable in the back of the router has been pulled out.

Connection may fail if the superhigh speed network is malfunctioning.

Has the wireless router (AP) or the configuration changed?

1. The wireless router has been replaced by another one because the service provider has been changed, for example.

2. The settings, such as the password and encryption system, have been changed.
In such cases, you need to perform [Product Registration and Wi-Fi Setting] again on your smart phone application.
In the [Setting - Edit Product] menu in the application, complete the product registration steps again.
(You can either reuse the previous ID or register a new ID.)

Has the location of the wireless router (AP) been changed?

If the wireless router has been relocated, the range the Wi-Fi signal reaches will also have changed.
If it is too far from the dryer or is obstructed, the wireless router needs to be relocated or replaced with a better one.

Is network connection unable to be established smoothly due to the surrounding environment?

Wi-Fi reception and transmission performance may deteriorate on a rainy or cloudy day.
If many Wi-Fi devices are connected to the wireless router that is connected to the dryer, the performance of the Wi-Fi modem may deteriorate.
Turn off the Wi-Fi settings on other devices and try again.
