[LG Air Purifier] When I press a button, it is unresponsive but makes a sound

Are you experiencing this cause/symptom?

The "CL" or phrase is lit up on the display panel;

Learn more about it.

If the buttons are in lock mode or the cover is not closed properly after cleaning, the buttons may not be pressed.

Try this:

➔ If [L] or [CL] or lock icon appears on the display panel but doesn't work, check whether it is in [Button Lock] mode.

Each model has a different way of turning on/off button lock mode.
Please check the product manual.

You can turn on the Screen Lock function to prevent unwanted activation of functions due to children's accidental adjustments or other factors.

You can turn on Screen Lock under the screen menu.

Please keep this in mind!

The icon will light up on the status display.
To turn off the lock function, press the screen once and then press the lock icon for 3 seconds.
You can use the remote control even when it is locked.

Lock the control panel’s buttons to prevent unwanted operations due to children or other factors.

Using the AeroTower control panel button lock

Press the Operation mode button on the control panel for more than 3 seconds.
The will light up on the status display.

Please keep this in mind!

You can use the remote control even when it is locked.
You can modify and control the product settings by using the app even when the product is locked.
Press the Operation mode button on the control panel again for more than 3 seconds to unlock.

How to lock the control panel

You can turn on the Screen Lock function to prevent unwanted activation of functions due to children's accidental adjustments or other factors.

Press the Lock button for 3 seconds when the product is in operation.
When the lock function is turned on, you will hear an alarming sound.

To turn off the lock function, press the Lock button for 3 seconds just like when you turned it on.
Lock function can be turned on or off even when the product is not working.
When the lock function is turned on, you will hear the same alarm sounds for all buttons when you press them.
