The auto touch pad function can be used to enable auto suspension of touch pad use when an external USB mouse is connected and it is used to automatically change the touch pad to enabled use when an external USB mouse is removed.
Causes and Symptoms
In the touch pad of Windows setting, is the [ □ Leave touchpad on when a mouse is connected] function checked?
➔ Simultaneously press the [Fn + F5] keys and if only [Touchpad On, Off] is displayed on the screen, then uncheck the [ □ Leave touchpad on when a mouse is connected] function.

1. In the task bar search field, input [Touch Pad On/Off] and run it.
2. Select and check Touch Pad > [ □ Leave touchpad on when a mouse is connected] .
3. Each time you press the [Fn] + [F5] keys on the keyboard at the same time, it toggles between [Touchpad Auto] and [Touchpad Off].
- Products launched in 2017 – Uncheck [Turn On Touch Pad when Mouse Connects] for the same effects as pressing the Fn + F5 keys.
