Some laptop computer screens provide a power option to save power by automatically changing the brightness of the screen.
Causes and symptoms
- The power supply adapter connection is unstable.
- This problem may be caused by the [Panel Self Refresh Technology] of Intel to save power.
- Enabled display power saving settings may be the cause.
Try this
Check the connection of the adapter to the laptop.
➔ If the adapter connection is unstable and contact failure occurs, then the laptop screen brightness will be automatically adjusted to cause flickering.
The DC jack port connected to the laptop is in a dual structure, thus gently insert it and then press it more firmly for a secure connection.
From the Intel Graphics Commad Center, turn off [Panel Self Refresh].
1. Press [Start] at the left bottom of the background, and find and run the [Intel Graphics Commad Center].
2. From [Intel Graphics Commad Center], click [System] and [Power] in order.
3. Turn off the [Panel Self Refresh] and [Display Power Savings] options.
