The odor could have a variety of causes.
When the washing machine and laundry are not adequately maintained, microorganisms can grow in the laundry and produce odors after drying, especially in high-temperatures and humid environments.
Also, if you use more detergent or fabric softener than recommended, residue may contaminate the machine's interior and cause odors.

Decontamination methods for fabrics such as cotton towels and underwear
➔ Wash at high temperature.
The most effective way to get rid of odor-causing microbes is to boil the fabric.
After boiling the fabric, spin it in the washing machine and dry it.
You can also use the washing machine’s [Boil Wash] cycle.
※ Check the fabric label to see if the material can be boiled in boiling water or in a washing machine.
➔ Use a supplementary laundry agent
Use baking soda as a supplementary laundry agent while washing and add citric acid during the final rinse to neutralize smells caused by sweat and grime.
Use the dilution ratio of baking soda and citric acid according to the recommendations made on each particular product.
※ If the odor is strong, we advise washing it separately using an oxygen-based bleach. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's directions.
➔ Use the amount recommended by the manufacturer of detergents and/or fabric softeners.
If you use more detergent or fabric softener than recommended, residue may contaminate the inside of the machine and cause odors.
Follow the directions for use when using laundry detergents, bleaches, fabric softeners, and similar items.
