Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth it! Sleek design, easy set-up, cools down average size room fairly quickly, just a bit noisy (like white noise turned up) but still worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for small rooms Using in a bedroom (11' x 11') and works well. It is small enough that it doesn't intrude on the available space and allows movement around the room without causing interruption to traffic flow.

Why is my machine not working and saying water full ?! How do I rectify this issue?!

Asked by: Bastin
If the internal water tank is full, the display panel will read “FL”, and the compressor will stop running. This is normal operation. Please turn the machine off and move it to the place where the water can be drained, then unplug the water-draining hole. After drainage, you can power it on and the machine will run again. When the internal water collection tank is full, the air conditioner will turn off until the tank is emptied. Unplug the air conditioner, disconnect the exhaust hose from the back, and move the air conditioner to a suitable drain location or outdoors. You may also place a pan under the drain that will hold up to 1 quart of water. Remove the drain cap from the drain outlet. Once the water collection tank is drained, reinstall the drain cap, making sure it is on securely. Place the air conditioner in the desired location, reconnect the exhaust hose, and plug in the air conditioner. This information can be found on page 19 of the owner’s manual.

Manual states air conditioner must be in fan mode for it work but its not cooling the room shld it be in cool mode and how does temp stay at wht u set

Asked by: Lowdown
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this air conditioner. We have been unable to locate the statement referenced above in your request. The COOL mode must be active in order to actively cool the room. The FAN mode will only circulate the air, as it is, in the room.

Where is the access to fill ac unit with water?

Asked by: mozart the64th
There is no access to fill the LG 7,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner with Remote, Model # LP0711WNR with water. The unit does not require water to operate. The unit uses refrigerant to cool the air. It has a self-evporative system that recycles the condensing water to cool the condenser which improves the cooling efficiency and helps you save energy. If the inside becomes full of water, the display panel will show "FL" and the compressor will stop running. You will need to turn the machine off and move the machine to a location where you can drain the water then unplug the water-draining hole. After the water has been emptied, the machine will run again...^IFV

Air conditioner is making a random squeaking/squealing sound every five minutes or so. Any suggestions?

Asked by: PJ_San Diego
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this air conditioner. Check to make sure all air passages are clear. A squeak would indicate either something stuck in the unit, or moving parts rubbing against each other. If no such parts are readily accessible, then the unit may require service for an inspection. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair/support-repair-provider-lookup.jsp.

AC suddenly starts push out hot air. Ive tried draining the water but there's never any. Unpluging for a couple of days and no change. Is this AC a goner or is there hope?

Asked by: DeeeDeee1
There are a few reasons why your LG 7,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner with Remote, Model # LP0711WNR is blowing hot air. The most obvious would be to check the settings. Turn the Air Conditioner to its' coldest setting and turn the fan to its' highest speed and you should feel cold air blowing through in a few minutes. If you still are not getting any cold air, check the filter to make sure that it is not clogged or dirty. Although a dirty air filter may not be the primary cause of hot air blowout, it might be significantly responsible for a major compromise in cooling. Dust that emanates from a dirty or clogged air filter can clog the condenser coils. This unit should be serviced every summer to have the condenser, compressor and evaporator coils cleaned. If you have never had this done, it may be that the coils are dirty. Often, dirt and debris accumulate on the coils and that can seriously affect the cooling performance of the air conditioner. The other cause for a lack of cooling may be due to a leakage of the refrigerant from the compressor which would stop the air conditioner from cooling air but that would have to be addressed by a qualified professional. If it is just that the refrigerant needs to be replenished, that should be a fairly inexpensive procedure...^IFV
