What People Are Saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Was a great phone, until it wasn't I purchased this phone 17-months ago and as of today, it no longer boots. Instead, it enters a never ending boot loop sequence that cannot be fixed by a factory reset - this leads me to believe it's a hardware issue. This phone was always taken care of, never dropped or abused and now it's nothing but a worthless brick. I see from these reviews that there are many others voicing the same concern. I can no longer recommend this phone and will never purchase another LG product again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The dreaded boot loop! Bought 14 mos ago. If I charge the phone higher than 10% battery power, it starts boot looping. Like most of you, this phone was great until the hardware failed. Upon researching the issue the culprit is a poor soldering quality on part of the motherboard. I'm sad because I researched for weeks to try to find the best quality economical phone. Wish I could get a partial refund in the very least LG. Such a shame you still SELL THIS PHONE. I won't bother having you try to fix it because it looks as if these efforts would be in vain based on numerous other accounts. I'm utterly disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from fine, until LG broke it Good value for the buck until the phone went into the famous boot loop. I sent the phone into LG 4 times as it kept coming back with something else wrong. Basically, you are taking a gamble by sending your phone to LG for repair. I suggest emailing folks at for assistance as well. Features: Not much bloatware besides google apps unlinke some other vendors Easy to customize phone Fingerprint reader on the back of the phone was actually nice Battery life is poor compared to any standard iphone. Camera quality was decent yet there was a substantial lag. Very confusing co-marketing between Google & LG. Apparently Google offers better service than LG, but only if you bought the phone directly from Google.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Phone ever It was working fine and suddenly my phone was dead. They have stopped manufacturing the parts of this mobile. So i suggest you not to buy this phone because you will face this problem sooner or later. Bye LG never going to buy any product from your company.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dead phone = bad I was pretty happy with Nexus 5X before it went dead suddenly. I purchased it on November, 2015. It was handy and affordable. Until 2 days ago it went into bootloop. I could not have chance to back up the content out. It is dead like a piece of brick. So I searched on internet and found that it is not the isolated problem. So disappointed!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Almost a great phone My family have had 4 of these, we've experienced the boot loop and an issue where the phone can not connect to an APN. The average life of our 4 phones is about a year. This phone is perfect for basic use and the price is affordable. Unfortunately this phone with it's brands like LG and Google doesn't equal reliability. I probably won't buy another product from LG, nor will I recommend one. It's unfortunate, this was almost a great phone.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Could of have been a superstar but failed I acquired a Nexus 5X Dec 2016 and was super thrilled, but 2 months in failed. Lucky LG did service it quickly and when I got back was doing great but July 2017, failed again, symptom of the BootLoop death. Experienced difficultly to send back for the 2nd time to LG for service, but as of today 8/10/17, it's at LG in service. Waiting to see if LG can bring it back to life and if so how it will perform. If LG can't bring it back to life, hoping LG does my justice with some type of refund or a juicy discount for a replacement unit. TBC

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken phone from Day One We bought two of these and liked them a lot. However after one year one died (bootloop known flaw) then the other four days later. Phone #1 died ON the last day of the warranty.
