Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective control panel After researching slide in electric ranges, bought this LG because of looks and reviews. First, the instruction manual does not tell you that it takes a full 30 minutes for the oven to heat to your desired temperature. It took three different things being baked at three different temperatures (and being undercooked or burnt on the outside) to figure out that when the pre-heat tone went off that my oven was not heated to the temp needed. Put my old oven thermometer in and discovered that originally it would properly heat to 350, but any temperature set above that overheated by about 25 degrees. To be sure my old thermometer was accurate, I bought a new one and put them side by side, in the middle of my oven. Same result. Contacted LG and they sent out a service person. At this point, the control panel has been replaced twice. Same problem. The last repair person that came out was, I believe, told to tell me that the temperature fluctuation was normal so that they can be done with me. During the pre-heat he opened the oven door at least 4 times (which obviously cools down the oven). After 30 minutes he told me that what it was doing was in normal range. Now, you have the ability to calibrate the temperature by making an adjustment in the settings. I would have no problem with this except for the fact that it is not consistent. The current control panel heats almost up to 350 (about 7 degrees short), but over heats above that, so I can't adjust the temperature 25 degrees down and get a proper temp at 350. This entire experience has been very disappointing, and put a damper on the excitement of remodeling my kitchen after 33 years. I don't have any complaints about LG customer service people. They have been very professional and it is not their fault that LG makes a defective product. So now it appears that I am stuck with this stove until something big breaks that I definitely will not fix. Every time I use the oven (I cook almost daily) I have to figure out how to set the oven temperature to get it to where I need it to be. The last service tech went so far as to tell me these ovens are only tested with frozen foods, which I don't believe. So I cannot recommend buying this stove. I also bought an LG microwave and haven't had any problems with that so far, and was considering an LG refrigerator as well, but am glad we kept our old Kenmore. LG shouldn't try to make everything! Maybe stick to TVs (haven't had any problems

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great features and ease of use! After thorough research of slide-in models I pulled the trigger on this beauty. I have no regrets! And, the more familiar I become with the features of this unit, the more I love it. Easy to use, easy to clean and produces great cooking results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No finger prints!! I bought this oven mostly because of look, and basic functionality. I checked out other reviews and saw this unit was 4+ stars so I bought it. I was in a pinch; my previous oven/stove broke and I had family coming in to visit. I needed something quick! This did the job but it surpassed my expectations. Once I got it Home and installed I started cooking immediately. Everyday I’m impressed when I find something “new” about it like, the ultra quiet fan that runs to keep the heat circulating for a more even baking experience, I love how even though it’s black stainless it’s finger print resistant, every spill, boil over or splash wipes up effortlessly with a soft cloth, and all the controls are easily accessible so I don’t have to reach over a hot stove to adjust the heating elements... Wonderful work at LG. I highly recommend this slide in and the rest of the set (I only need the fridge and my appliance set is complete!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great look! My husband was insistent that we trade out the range from our new home to this one. Of course, I was hesitant of getting rid of something that was brand new but I'm so glad we did. The features are so easy to use, the cooktop heats within seconds and my favorite part is the sleek look and blue inside of the oven. Beautiful!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised, love it I love it. No lie it took a few weeks to get used to after being with coils, but its easy and love it. I wanted one with knobs not all the electronic buttons, this is so perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection! After getting rid of my 27 year old electric range/oven that came with my house, I had this new LG range installed. It had all the new features I was looking for. Front controls, glass top burners, and electric and convection oven with self clean feature. So far, it's everything it claims to do. I love the tunes it plays when it gets to desired temps, and it cleans easily. I haven't had it long enough to use the self cleaning feature, but plan to use it soon. I'm looking forward to making my Thanksgiving meal in and on my new range. I can't help it, but honestly, every time I open the oven door and see that beautiful blue color, it makes me smile!

My oven the LSE4613 ST does not have a pizza setting.  We keep trying to make our frozen pizzas and the crust never gets done.  We put in on the 4th row, no baking sheet.  The top gets done quickly and the bottom isn’t done.  Also my pie crust burns.

Can this stove be hardwired or does it need a plug?

Asked by: Frost77
This appliance must be installed and grounded on a branch circuit by a qualified technician in accordance with the National Electrical code ANSI/NFPA NO. 70 - latest edition. All wiring should conform to Local and NEC codes. This range requires a single-phase, 3 wire, A.C 120/208 V or 120/240 V 60 Hz electrical system. Use only a 3-conductor or a 4-conductor UL- listed range cord with closed-loop terminals, open-end spade lugs with upturned ends or similar termination. Do not install the power cord without a strain relief. A range cord rated at 40 amps with 120/240 minimum volt range is required. If a 50 amp range cord is used, it should be marked for use with 13/8" diameter connection openings. This appliance may be connected by means of a conduit or power cord. ^CP
