What’s worse than pulling clothes out of the dryer and finding they’re still damp? Our Sensor Dry system measures the moisture levels during the cycle and automatically adjusts the drying time, to help ensure you get dry laundry every time.

What People Are Saying

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 61 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love Everything About This Dryer Purchased about a month ago - can't say enough good things about the dryer - beautiful looking and performing great. Clothes come out perfect, love the wrinkle free steam setting too. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. June 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Newmom14 I bought this dryer along with the matching 4.3 cu. ft. washer in white and I absolutely love it. I mostly use the regular cycle and the towel cycle. My towels always come out completely dry, as do my clothes. If I have one negative thing to say, it's that when I do my sons clothing (he's 7+ months old and I do his clothes separate) they don't always dry completely. I think it has to do with the fact that each drying cycle is "Sensor Dry" and if the machine doesn't sense any moisture it will shorten the drying cycle. His loads aren't very big either so that could also be a factor. I haven't used the "wrinkle free" setting yet, but I can't wait to try it out! Also, I love that the controls are in the front of the dryer (and washer) instead of on the back. Much better to reach for us short people. :-P July 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect dryer! Everything about this appliance is perfect. I love how it dries your clothes, NOT cook them! And the steam feature is great when I just need to de-wrinkle an item. On top of that, IF a dryer can be pretty, this one is! July 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love my new dryer! What a great dryer! It's quiet, dries more quickly than my old gas dryer, and the front load makes it easy to get everything in and out. Many cycles to choose from, and I love the sleek design and color. Decent value for the quality. I highly recommend it. April 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product We are very pleased with this product--high quality, quiet, easy to use, great features. Our gas company mailed us a check for $200.00 since we bought a high efficiency gas drier. April 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT FEATURES I just got this dryer a few months ago to replace a 23-year-old one and I was a bit intimidated with all of the features on it compared to my old dryer. There was a bit of a learning curve for me (so many options to select from!) but I now find it's quite easy to customize the various settings to make my clothes come out of dryer in much better shape than they had with the old dryer! The only thing I wish was different about this dryer was the angle at which the door opens. The door opens to the side, rather than downward (as my old dryer had). If I drop an article of dried clothing while taking it out of this dryer it lands on the floor rather than on the door - would prefer to have that door open downward and act as a "catch-safe" for any newly-laundered item I might drop. Other than that, I am quite please with the dryer and am hoping it will last as long as my last one had! March 3, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by great performance gas bill has been cut in half drying time extremely short clothes come out with minimum wrinkles March 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by What a Super Dryer The dryer is very attractive, functional and delivers great results. It has a host of handy and convenient features that make drying clothes a breeze. Highly recommended for all February 26, 2015

Matching Pedestal availability

In the manual, "For a garage installation, you will need to place the dryer at least 18 inches (46 cm) above the floor. If using a pedestal, you will need 18 inches (46 cm) to the bottom of the dryer."

Can you tell me if there is a matching LG Pedestal available for this model? Will my old LG pedestal work?

Answer:
Yes and yes; the pedestals appear to be basically the same. I want to get the pedestal too but since my washer is a top load it might look kind of “wonky”.

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in this dryer. There has not been a new pedestal designed for this dryer. The older model should be able to work, depending upon the model number. For this model, we would recommend the WDP4V pedestal.

Yes, there is a dryer rack available; I didn’t purchase it because I had one with a previous dryer and rarely used it.

Steam fresh setting shooting water

I tried out the steam fresh setting on dryer, it didn't seem to spray steam as it just shot water out into the tub and clothes came out damp after going in dry. Is this how it is suppose to work or is it suppose to spray steam?

Answer:
Yes, it is a freshener not designed to dry clean. You need to allow time for these items to air dry. I have used this myself and it works wonderfully. I think the steam is generated from the heat of the dryer and the water that is applied. I did not observe the process but this is my best guess. I really like this feature for freshening up my husband's suits and my wool coat. I live a really long way from a dry cleaners.

Answer:
It is normal for the SteamFresh cycle to leave clothing damp. Moisture is expected to remain in the fabrics to make it easier to iron.

If they are not too deep and it is in the metal part the same product you would use on a car will do the trick, if it is in the plastic part then you would need a product designed for plastic......I think they have a product for eye glass lenses that may work.

How do we keep dryer door from closing?

What is the trick or setting to keep the dryer door from closing? The dryer was just delivered today and the door seems to be on immediate auto-close mode or something. We need it to stay open for at least long enough to put the clothes in!

The only thing I have found is to somehow prop it open. I happen to have a clothes sorter next to mine and the hooks that hold the bags on do a wonderful job. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but it is one solution. Good luck!
