What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best monitor in its price range The clarity and color depth of this monitor is amazing. Beat my 28" Samsung 4k monitor in color and clarity. I bought this so I could not only use it for my titan color gaming pc but for my PlayStation 4 Pro since it had hdcp 2.2 and my samasung was 1.4 and wouldn't allow 4k from a ps4 pro. Color accuracy, sharpness, and features are unrivaled in this price range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Far better than anticipated!!! For years now I have been using monitors for my gaming PCs from other manufacturers who are more well known in the gaming community specifically for their monitors. A few weeks ago when I decided to make the jump to 4K, I found that the prospect of a 4K IPS monitor from my preferred and other manufacturers was an extremely expensive one. However, the 27UD69P kept coming up alongside others, with quite a few reviewers listing it as the best 4K monitor on the market in it's price range. Initially I was skeptical. As a PC gamer I have grown accustomed to "you get what you pay for" and figured that there was no way that a 4K IPS panel that was so much cheaper than the others could hold up to any sort of scrutiny. Right before I was about to pull the trigger on a different, significantly more expensive monitor from another manufacturer, I saw the 27UD69P at a discounted price at Best Buy. As a Best Buy Elite member, I knew I had 30 days to try it out and return it, no questions asked. So I bought one. Not having really any experience with LG monitors, and never really hearing the LG name come up too often when reading about gaming monitors, I'll admit that my expectations were low. However, I was immediately surprised as soon as I opened the box. First thing in the box was a color calibration report; something normally only seen on much more expensive, professional grade panels. Next, once I get everything turned on, I was happy to see not a single dead pixel, and almost zero light bleed. I have seen monitors nearly twice the price of this with both of these issues. I will say that the color settings out of the box were not ideal, which was giving a grey tinge to white colors. However, a quick adjustment (which also had quite a few very handy presets) fixed the issue perfectly. The image quality is absolutely amazing. Crisp and clear with great contrast and a wide color gambit. Overall, I feel that I more than got my money's worth with the 27UD69P. As two final notes, I do have two suggestions. First, I wish that there was a similarly inexpensive G-Sync option for this panel. It would be nice to see someone break into the market with such a monitor without the hefty price tag. Also, the monitor needs a bit better color settings out of the box. I for one knew that a quick adjustment was likely to fix the issue, however I am sure that not everyone knows this which could lead to returns, or dissatisfied customers. All in all though, I absolutely recommend this monitor for anyone looking to upgrade to 4K for their gaming PC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! Great monitor! Perfect with GTX 1080 and no issues with the Xbox one S (obviously no HDR).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent IPS 4k monitor Recently purchased the 27ud69p and it is excellent, the IPS panel has very accurate colors and great viewing angles. The amount of picture controls are above average and the 4k resolution is crisp and crystal clear. This has to be one of the top 3 4k monitors on the market. The only thing missing is 144hz refresh rate, if it had that it would be number one right now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from seems dim I bought it 7 days go to use as an extended monitor for my 2017 iMac. It seems extremely dim. I connected another HDMI source to in an it is still dim. The colors seems to be accurate. I just wish it were brighter.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good picture quality, but True PIP not supported This is good 4K monitor. However it does not support PIP. LG split screen is useless as it only supports different programs running on PC. You can't watch two inputs (HDMI and/or display port) at the same time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic display, garbage software I just bought this display a couple of days ago, so my opinion may change over time. For now, though, I am thoroughly impressed. Sleek looks, minimal light bleed for an IPS monitor, good colors right out of the box. The only issue is with the Onscreen Control software (version 2.50). It doesn't work. Period. Tells me "There is no connected monitor". Connected to Win 10 box via Display Port (1.2), GTX 1060 card. Doesn't change my opinion of the monitor, but

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor software Loaded drivers for the monitor as instructed and the screen went black. No desktop, nothing. Don't have video so that I can remove the driver and just run a Generic Monitor on Windows 10.

any difference with 27ud68p?I want to know the difference between them and make sure if it's a good time to buy a 27ud68p now

Asked by: WayneZhu
Obviously, this model will be able to rotate whereas 68p does not. Wish it was an OLED monitor, it would be my full payment in advance.

Im looking for a monitor for the xbox one x and i really like this one however it doesn't have freesync for HDMI 2.0 so was wondering if you had one the same but with freesync for hdmi 2.0 .

Asked by: Bobjenkins

This is in Best Buy already. But it's only in white. Are you going to make the 27UD69P in black, or black & silver with the versatile stand-as this? Will it be sold elsewhere?
