I'm an online professor and artist who teaches 3D Modeling, Game Design and Motion Graphics and it works wonderfully. I also use it for my Xbox One when I'm rendering or need to blow off steam and it looks fantastic (provided you adjust the video settings specifically for it) Pros Clear picture, bright screen, lots of tweaks you can make to the screen. Cons Only HDMI inputs, no internal speaker just a 3.5mm speaker output (but volume can be controlled through app or menu of monitor)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LG PC Monitor I have four (4) of these monitors. Due to some eye issues, I find the larger screen assists my reading the monitors. PROBLEM: these screens, all four of them (two on one computer, the other two on a separate computer) go "black" after only a few seconds of inactivity. Very frustrating! And the computer screen settings are at twenty minutes. I looked at comments on the internet, and find others have the same issue. I will continue to try to solve the problem. Otherwise, good units.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG Widescreen Monitor Now Work Space on Steroids I replaced my 3rd 27" HD Monitor with the LG Widescreen to now have virtual 4 monitors to do web design research and research projects. This setup allows me to work easily between windows without having to move apps and screens back and forth as I work which expedites design time and the unrestricted flow of concentration. The utility is worth it and for those considering a 25" ultrawide like I was, you should get the 29" ultrawide if you work with three screens vertically. The response time is great and after using this I don't think I will go back to a non ultrawide.

It occupies only 2/3 of the screen and there is black background on both side. Tried adjusting the screen resolution and it still does not work.

Does 21:9 ultra wide monitor have sound if not, how do I get it with this unit

Hello, my question is, I have a graphic card Xfx radeon hd 7800 but don´t have options of resolutions above 1920x1080p. With this monitor should automatically 2560x1080p?

If the graphics card can’t get higher than 1920 x 1080, then it can’t get the 2560 x 1080 resolution of the monitor. The graphics card should be higher or equal to the resolution of the monitor so that the picture will be good. For further assistance, please give us a ring at 1-800-243-0000. ^AC

I've noticed at the spec page that it features 1.4 HDMI however in the questions section I have found ver1.2 being mentioned. Which version is it? Also couldn't find what is the refresh rate supported at 21:9 1080p? Does graphics has HDMI version as well?

The LG 34" Class 21:9 UltraWide® Full HD IPS LED Monitor (34" Diagonal), Model # 34UM58-P has a native resolution of 2560 x 1080 and a native refresh rate of 75 Hz. The HDMI ports on it are version 1.4. The HDMI 1.4 specification added support for 4K × 2K, i.e. 4096×2160 at 24 Hz (which is a resolution used with digital theaters), 3840×2160 (Ultra HD) at 24 Hz/25 Hz/30 Hz, and support for 1080p at 120 Hz. Support for 4K allows the HDMI interface to transmit digital content at the same resolution as the state-of-the-art Digital Cinema systems used in many movie theaters. It succeeded the HDMI 1.3 / 1.3a specification which succeeded the HDMI 1.2 / 1.2a specification...^IFV
