What People Are Saying

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 40 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sharp looking standard feature fridge This is a great looking fridge with standard features. Good quality too. July 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Extremely happy with purchase. This was a very reasonably priced refrigerator, with an excellent ice maker. The freezer space is bigger than what the specs would indicate, as the ice maker doesn't take up much space and the shelves are arranged well. Lighting is excellent in fridge and freezer. I like the functionality of the meat drawer in the middle of the fridge. Highly recommend this Energy Star fridge. July 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Well-designed Unit The LTC20380ST is a well-designed unit. It runs quiet and has plenty of room May 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by It replaced our 19 yr old fridge. Love it! Absolutely love it. Quiet, well light, plenty of spaces and even temperatures. June 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Big,Quiet,Energy Efficient. This fridge is Huge inside. 20 cf looks and feels like much more compared to our old one of equal size. It is so quiet, I found myself regularly checking to see that it was really functioning till I got used to the fact that it was working and very well.Unless the ice maker is on, you don't hear from this machine. I appreciate many things about this refrigerator; the use of large door shelves and the middle drawer being 2 outstanding examples. I can't overlook those 2 large, functional produce drawers and the height adjustable top shelf either. Make no mistake, you may have to wait for one of these units as they seem to be on constant back order, especially the white. We wanted white but would have waited at least 30 days for delivery. Hopefully they have improved the wait time. After realizing a problem with delivery of the White Model we ordered, the Manager at my local Howard's Store offered me a Stainless Steel unit that he had in stock at a comparable price and we reluctantly accepted (dreading the cleaning problems with Stainless Steel). To the credit of LG, only the doors are Stainless Steel and very easy to care for. On the down side, you must keep in mind the air vents in the freezer and avoid blocking them when possible. Also, if you do not have a long arm reach, you may need to keep a reaching tool nearby for times when things have gotten into the corners. All things considered, plus $125 in Energy Rebates, a better Refrigerator for us could not be found. May 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 Good purchase - I expect it will last a while I think this is a dependable product and was affordable. I would recommend this product to anyone needing a good refrigerator. May 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Fridge Looked at lotsa fridges in the 20 cu ft size all of them seemed the same till this one. Nice looks - gray sides not black - sleek with no outward handles. The inside is great the freezer has a solid shelf not cheap wire thing, the door spaces are all solid no holes for stuff to fall out of and on sale its under a grand. Overall the best size and features for the money. May 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by So far we are really impressed with our purchase We had a Frigidaire and it was a horrible product. Noisy and just couldn't adjust the temperature to be "just right". This product is wonderful. No noise and the temperature is "just right". May 11, 2014

Answer:
I just bought the lg 20.2 cu ft top freezer and Love It. I read your question and went to fridge to check. Looks to me like it needs about 1/2 inch when the door is open at a 90-degree angle but I would plan 1 inch just to be safe.

Answer:
Only if your refrigerator is installed next to a wall, then the extra width is important. Unfortunately the spec sheet does not list the width with door open. Please contact LG Live Chat https://www.lg.com/us/support/message-customer-support

I like the style of the LG refrigerator's as sold at Home Depot. Model's LTC19340ST and LTC22350. Almost bought one until I read the reviews of all of the people complaining about the freezer door popping open when the bottom door was closed. Sure enough, I tried it on the floor model and it did just as the reviews said. Now I see that LG has a Model LTC20380ST and I want to know if this refrigerator has the same issue.

Answer:
No, it doesn't. The air pressure kinda pushes the freezer door outwards (less than a measurable amount) for like a split second and then it sucks back in.( You can hear it happeneing but you can't really see it) It's sort of odd but it's not a drawback in any real way.

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in this refrigerator. There does not appear to be a filter available on this refrigerator. Such a filter will have to be connected to the water line on the outside of the refrigerator.
