What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Instructions for OLED65B7P I am very pleased with the picture of my LG OLED. However I am very disappointed about the lack of any printed user manual available. Using the online instruction is not very good. I tried to get a printed manual from LG but they do not have any. The down load of the information was useless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best picture I've seen on a TV After two months of using my OLED, I am still amazed at the quality of the picture, both with HD and 4K sources. The blacks are as inky and deep as they can be, while the whites are as vibrant and bright as possible, and all the colors in between are astonishingly vivid. Normal HDR encoding expands the range from the lightest to the darkest parts of the image. Dolby Vision is a subtle, but noticeable refinement of the HDR process, and improves even further the quality of the picture. The OLED shines with 4K material, both from streaming sources and UHD Blu-rays, taking advantage of the increased resolution those sources provide. Standard HD Blu-rays also are improved as the OLED upscales them to 4K, making some almost as good as their 4K counterparts. While the 65B7A does not send a Dolby Atmos signal to its own speakers, it does pass the Atmos signal to my AVR. I'll rarely, if ever, use the OLED's small internal speakers, as I prefer using my 7.2 speaker system. The OLED has ARC (audio return channel) which allows one HDMI cable to carry signals from my AVR to the OLED and the audio signal from programs on the OLED to the AVR. Thus, only one cable is needed to connect the AVR and OLED. The internal apps on the OLED stream smoothly with my wi-fi system and the over-the-air tuner is much stronger than the one in my nine-year-old plasma. I'm receiving several channels I could not previously view. While most of my viewing is from a satellite source, it's great to have access to the local channels the old-fashioned way, with an antenna. HD sources, both from the satellite service and OTA, look very good on the OLED. I've even done a little web browsing on the OLED's internal browser, just to check it out. I prefer my laptop, but the OLED browser, especially coupled to a Bluetooth keyboard is serviceable. In all, the 65B7A has a full array of features and an absolutely incredible picture. After seeing the quality of its picture, my son changed his plans to buy a 77" LCD and bought instead LG's 65" OLED and is as happy in his choice as I am in mine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Great and has good features I was so surprised of the thickest of the unit and the quality of the picture. I'm glad that I spent the extra money now for the next generation of TV. Very happy! All I need is for my recliner to arrive!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing picture! The old TV was going out, I look over many of the reviews online for 55" TV's. Had two in mind and they were both at Costco. When I seen them side by side the choice was easy. Amazing picture, Apps, and a Cool remote.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from INSANE QUALITY TV Bought the 65” LG OLED B7P from Costco around Christmas as an upgrade to the living room. THIS TV IS INCREDIBLE! First thing we did was watch Star Wars: Rogue One, and we were BLOWN AWAY by the picture quality. It feels like real life and is easily the best picture I have ever seen on a TV. “Perfect black” is actually really cool once you see it for the first time, and it is disappointing to see other TVs now that do not have this OLED-specific feature. I can see this TV lasting for a very long time. When you buy something built well and state-of-the-art for its time, it should be usable for many many years before having to consider upgrading/replacing as technology advances. This is opposed to buying a cheaper model now and wanting to upgrade in two years because something better is available. Overall, it is definitely a sizeable investment, but WELL WORTH IT for the quality and amazing viewing experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesomeness LG I bought this a few months ago and I'm so glad for my purchase. Finally a TV I can view from anywhere in the room without having a curved screen. The colors are very Vivid and the black is real black. I'm afraid I'm going to watch too much TV now because of the difference in picture quality from my HD Ultra LED sets. Thanks LG for doing such a great job with the OLED technology! I love the voice activated Smart Remote technology also.

I've switched cable companies since I initially set up my t.v.. How can I get the tv to list my new cable company? I've tried unplugging it thinking it would act as if it was just being set up but it didn't work.
