What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent picture Great TV, however, my wife and I will be getting a Samsung because of cost. We are not TV's experts, and could care less how well the pixels change colors. We can definitely afford this TV but wont buy something better than what we need - on principle. Overpriced with a premium for positive reviews.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blown away by picture, sound, and WebOS Tested with old sound bar and never knew that a TV could have such great sound built in. Considering getting rid of Apple TV because WebOS is so rich. The only thing we need Apple TV 4K for is viewing iCloud photos, and movies, AirPlay, and the cool Aerial screen saver. Best TV purchase ever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing picture The reason for 4 stars is the picture is so clear it makes things look almost animated.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great picture I️ enjoy this tv. It’s light and thin and has a good picture. Not cumbersome

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hard to adjust picture I think the 4K programming is terrific, but the T.V. cable product falls short. I could only find material on safety, and little on how to adjust picture. I guess you can use as much OLED light as you want. I liked my old plasma T.V. better, for everyday use, sports.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunningly beautiful picture! Amazingly deep, rich picture makes you feel like you could walk right into a scene! I use Cinema mode and achieved a fabulous picture with very little tweaking. The sound is noticeably better than other flat screen TVs and makes regular programs, news, and sports much more enjoyable. I tend to use my external sound system just for movies now. I just need to find a good quality, quiet Ultra HD Blu-ray disc player and I'll be set! I only wish that the included TV base wasn't so scary small. Of course you wall mounters won't have to worry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great color and very clear Best TV we have ever purchased clear bright and great sound

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Picture! I bought this tv about 2 weeks ago. I love the picture. It's like you are in the movie or the movie is being played live in your living room. I was looking forward to the surround sound atmos system. It is good for coming from a tv, but I don't think that it actually is true surround sound. Just sounds like regular sound. Probably will add surround sound system later. The only other thing is that the remote control could have a light in it to use in the dark. Otherwise it's awesome!

what is the screw size for the four mounting screws in the back of the OLED 65 inch 4K etc.

The width of the VESA standard mounting screws that will fit into the back of the LG E7 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 65" Class (64.5" Diag), OLED65E7P is M6 (i.e. 6 mm). The length of the screws will depend on the thickness of the VESA Compliant Wall Mount that you use to mount the TV. If within the factory warranty burn in or any panel distortion occurs would LG(the manufacturer) repair or exchange the warranted item?? Oh and purchase of sale is LG direct and not from third party vendors.

Asked by: Apache Jack
LG's TV warranty covers the product in the event of a defect in materials or workmanship. If the manufacturer agrees that there is a defect and said defect was reported within the allowed time period – from when the television was purchased – it will either repair your product with new or refurbished parts, or replace it with a new or refurbished product. That decision is made by the manufacturer at its own discretion. You will also need to present your original receipt or proof a purchase to validate the date of purchase. As detailed in LG's Limited Warranty for TVs that also includes the LG E7 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 55" Class (54.6" Diag), Model # OLED55E7P, the TV will be "repaired or replaced, at LG’s option, if it proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use, during the warranty period ("Warranty Period") listed below, effective from the date ("Date of Purchase") of original consumer purchase of the unit. This warranty is good only to the original purchaser of the unit and effective only when used in the United States, excluding U.S. Territories." The Limited Warranty does not apply to: • damage caused in shipping or transit • service required as a result of improper installation, including Incorrect or insufficient AC Supply (please consult the owner’s manual for power supply requirements). • installation or repair of antenna systems, cable converters, cable Company supplied equipment, or other components in a video system • set-up or adjustment on consumer controls, or damage caused by improper adjustments • damage caused by other system components • any unit that has been Modified or incorporated into any other unit. • replacement of batteries on the remote control • damage (including cosmetic damage), failure, loss or personal injury due to misuse, abuse, negligence, improper maintenance or storage, or to acts of nature or other causes beyond our control. (Causes beyond our control include but are not limited to lightning strike, power surges, power outages and water damage.) • image burn-in or image retention • repair or replacement of warranted parts by other than an LG authorized Service centers. • units purchased or serviced outside of the U.S.A. • units where the original factory serial numbers have been removed, defaced or changed in any way. • units sold and labeled as “as is, where is” or similar disclaimer. In summary, the warranty does not cover anything that is not the fault of the manufacturer or is to be expected under normal usage...^IFV

What is the refresh rate.

Asked by: Lilwonderz
Refresh rate is an LED LCD/LCD specification and does not apply to Plasma or OLED TVs which is why there is no refresh rate specification for the LG E7 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 55" Class (54.6" Diag), Model # OLED55E7P or any of the other OLED models. OLEDs, like Plasma TVs, are an emissive technology and work fundamentally different than LCD displays, so this has actually nothing to do with the refresh rate mentioned in other technologies. In order to create a picture, has to turn individual pixels on and off extremely rapidly...^IFV

I understand the picture is great, how is it for sports, football, NBA , Baseball etc? Hows the refresh rate? Thanks

Asked by: heavyfoot
Refresh rate is an LCD specification and the LG E7 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 55" Class (54.6" Diag), Model # OLED55E7P is an emissive technology like Plasma TVs were and they respond up to 200 times faster (conservative estimate) than LCDs and they produce truer colors (and a true black) through a much bigger viewing angle. OLED 4K TVs are capable of delivering perfect local dimming right down to the single-pixel level of precision (in a 4K TV this effectively means 8.29 million local dimming zones ) and due to the total black they can create by deactivating pixels, OLED TVs also deliver perfect, infinite contrast...^IFV
