Round Cavity

I've owned a Solordom oven for around 10yrs, which gave me exceptional service over the years. It has a static oven which was great for oblong baking and roasting trays. The combination function makes the most delicious roasts, tender and juicy inside and crispy on the outside.

I've owned a Solordom oven for around 10yrs, which gave me exceptional service over the years. It has a static oven which was great for oblong baking and roasting trays. The combination function makes the most delicious roasts, tender and juicy inside and crispy on the outside.
One gripe that I had was that the microwave function was not strong enough (max. 900w) for reheating food.
The main fault I find with these combo ovens is that the microwave function tends to fail after a while. Mine has faulted twice, once replacing the fuse, and then shortly after that the capacitor. Now again it has failed again during a cooking session, with an awful smell of an electric short....
I'm in the market for another oven, and would not consider anything other than a convection microwave, however, the one thing putting me off the latest models, is that they ALL now have turntables, and it will become difficult fitting a rectangular baking tray in them....

Hi I am totally with Manny, I have had solardoms for 15 years. Both the last 2,the microwaves have gone. Last one fuse then capacitor. I like the static oven ALOT. Its now gone and I am so sad. I nearly took my recently purchased solardom back to the store as I asked the sales person if the oven was static and she said yes. My main use was baking tray(which now does not fit!!) and oven. I mean to pay so much and to loose out on your main use seems a waste of money! But I am hooked and will work my way around this because I have always loved my solardom. I remember from way back also that those rubber feet on the turning wheel are hard to fine and on the square one I never had that problem. you need to bring out a rectangular one again as its unique to LG

I was introduced to Solardom cooking 14 years ago and was so impressed that we purchased a second oven five years ago as we do a lot of home entertaining. There simply isn't anything quite like it. Both are used daily.

I've had a LG Solardom since 2014 which has been a great appliance. Last year though the buttons started misbehaving and not responding when pressed. It sadly died whilst cooking today.

My wife & I are pensioners in our 70s. I purchase my wife a 38L SolarDOM also about 10 years ago and she is very happy with it. I would just like to purchase another one as it is all that she uses to microwave and bake. We have had no trouble with ours, thank God. Where can I get a new one that is still rectangular inside for those lovely baking dishes and muffin trays? Can anyone help please I need the price as well and delivery to Ladysmith KZN.
