LG Opens Ikoyi Office, Introduces Bluetooth TV

POISED to serve its consumers better and enhance access to its products, one of the leading consumer electronics in the country, LG Electronics, has opened a new showroom in Ikoyi, Lagos, recently.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Managing Director, LG Electronics West Africa Operations, Mr. ByeongWoo Park said the new showroom is meant to make all categories of LG electronic products available to consumers in the area.

"The showroom is designed to create convenience and great shopping experience for consumers. LG Electronics is consistently pushing to maintain its leadership position in the electronics market and cannot win the race without involving our consumers. Everything we do revolves around our consumers; they are our inspiration," he said.

Moreover, Mr. Mohammed Fouani, the Managing Director, Fouani Nigeria Limited, one of the LG product distributive firms said the LG is offering unique consumer products through its exquisite world of LG products that would be on display in the newly launched showroom.

However, LG has also introduced the world's first Bluetooth compatible LCD television (TV) - LG Scarlet LH70 LCD TV - in Lagos to further increase its services to the customers.

Apart from the slimmer shape of its newly launched product, the Scarlet comes with Bluetooth Compatibility, which gives consumers more opportunity to explore and experience the possibilities of these products.

With the Bluetooth feature, consumers can listen to TV with wireless headset as well as viewing photos from mobile phones or songs from MP3. It also, allows viewers the ability to connect directly to mobile phones to display pictures and movies in their living room.

Other features like its USB 2.0 port and HD DivX support make for easy resolution of high-tech video files stored on external hard discs, memory cards or other USB devices.

Also, the General Manager, Home Entertainment Division, LG Electronics West Africa Operations, Mr. Dave Shin, said LG Electronics reinforces its position as a market leader with the introduction of the new scarlet TV. "This is the first TV with a Bluetooth function and this shows the extent we can go to ensure our consumers get the best products they need," he noted.
