■ Possible Cause
If an additional drain pump is installed to discharge the condensate from the air conditioner, check the power supply of the drain pump or if the pump itself is
defective.
■ Solution or Settings
1. Check if the drain pump is installed
2. Check if power is supplied to the drain pump.
- Check if power is properly supplied to the drain pump by unplugging the drain pump power cord and plugging it again.
The drain pump may not work due to the temporary power failure.
- Plug another electrical appliance (such as a hair dryer) into the outlet to check whether the outlet is defective.
1) If other electrical appliances are in normal operation but drain pump is not working → The drain pump needs to be repaired.
2) If other electrical appliances are not turned on as well → Either the outlet or the power strip need to be repaired.
3. Check if the drain hose of the air conditioner is properly connected to the drain pump
- Connect the drain hose properly to the drain pump.
4. Gently shake the drain pump to the left and right.
If the water sensor inside the pump is temporarily restrained by the structure, it may not operate.
Release the restraint by gently shaking the pump to the left and right.
If it is confirmed that the drain pump is defective, You should make an inquiry to its manufacturer or installer.
