Good Machine with Room for Improvements
The Malaysian market model of (washer only) this machine does not come with Turbo Wash which is a bummer since this is a major selling point for LG; however, it cleans really well compared to our previous machine it replaced. Wi-Fi connectivity and push notifications on the app is really useful as with Remote start feature.

AI DD seems to do its magic but only available on Cottons and Mixed Fabric programmes.

Secondly, this machine is a tad noisier (especially the drain pump) than our previous Japanese branded Front Loading machine which we replaced and leaves a little too much water in the gasket & Softener compartment compared to the same Japanese branded Front Loading machine; on which we did not have any mold issues until the end.

We leave the door slightly ajar for the machine to dry out, only time will tell.

On the whole, assembly quality could have been better; the plastic fascia has gaps near the body and the cable outlet portion is not properly secured.

Hope that it can serve us well, at least 5 trouble free years or so as minimum.

Edit: Google Assistant doesn't work with LG ThinQ app in Malaysia; another minus point for LG, though LG blames Google for the lack of support.
