The saying that the world is a global village and there is a need to ensure man’s activities foster the existence of earth’s creatures was put to play by leading Consumer electronics giant, LG Electronics as it partnered with the Lagos State government to plant over 200 trees in marking this year’s world environmental day.
This year’s celebration was termed unique by the brand as it aligned with LG’s Global campaign of “Going green”. The practical demonstration of this spurred staff of LG Electronics Nigeria and its partners, Lagos State Government, Ministry of the Environment, Fouani Nigeria Limited, the media and NovelPotta Y&R to come out in their numbers to plant trees in support of the initiative and in fulfillment of its commitment towards giving back to the society where it operates.
