Checking the outdoor unit
1. Remove obstacles from in front of, at the back of, and around the outdoor unit.
If ventilation is not smooth due to an obstacle, the cooling performance may deteriorate.
2. Open the window of the place where the outdoor unit is located or the ventilation in the outdoor
unit room.
[Od] may be displayed on the display of the floor standing air conditioner.
Od display : This function indicates that the temperature of the space where the outdoor
unit is installed has risen rapidly, affecting the cooling performance and degrading cooling.
Open upper and lower louvers in the ventilation in the outdoor unit room as close to horizontal as
possible.
The mosquito net for the ventilation may be installed.
If there is a lot of dust on the mosquito net, clean it.
If ventilation is still not smooth, open the mosquito net as well. (If it is fixed, it cannot be opened.)
Checking the power status
Air conditioners are electrical appliances that consume a lot of power.
Check if the power of the product is turned on.
1. Pull the power cord out, cool the cord for approximately 30 minutes, then reconnect the power
cord correctly and restart the air conditioner.
If the power cord is loose, the power cord may overheat or the power may be turned off.
2. Avoid using a power strip, and connect it directly into wall outlets.
When using a power strip, the power may be momentarily turned off and restarted repeatedly so that cooling
may not be possible.
3. If you need to use a power strip due to the installation environment, use a dedicated power strip
for your air conditioner.
It is best to check the available electric capacity when using a dedicated power stripyou’re your air
conditioner.
※ The maximum capacity of the power strip is 20A x 250V.
4. Check the rated power consumption on the label attached to the outdoor unit of the floor standing 2-in-1 air conditioner before use.
