[LG Dryer] [Electric heat pump] How do you manage to dry laundry during winter?

Troubleshooting

During the winter months when temperatures are low, the dryer may take longer to preheat due to the low temperatures surrounding the dryer and laundry.
As a result, it may take longer than the drying time that was initially displayed.
This is an aspect of heat pump dryers, similar to how boilers do not warm up immediately when turned on during cold winters.
If the temperature surrounding the dryer and the laundry is not cold, but you have trouble drying, check the following instructions below.

Try this

Drying times may vary depending on how thoroughly the laundry was spun during the spin cycle.

Setting the washing machine spin cycle option to [High] or [Customized Dry] for spinning, or proceeding with an additional spin cycle can help reduce drying time.

Collect laundry of similar thickness and then fill the dryer up to half the volume of the drum.

If the dryer's humidity sensor becomes triggered by thin laundry that has dried first, it may end the drying process prematurely, leaving thick laundry in a damp state.

Choose drying options and cycles based on the thickness and material of your laundry.

When drying a large amount of thick laundry, turn the dial to [Normal] and select [High] from the [Dry Level] menu.
Then select [Speed] mode from the [Eco Dry] menu.
Also, select a suitable cycle according to the type of laundry. Duvets should be dried with the [Duvet] cycle and the towels with the [Towels] cycle.

Clean off any dust from the filter regularly to ensure good air circulation.

Make sure to clean the internal filter every time you use the dryer and the external filter after every 10 uses.

Cleaning the filters
Clean around the filter inlet and then take out the external and internal filters to unfold.
Cleaning dust in order of internal filter and external filter
Using a vacuum, remove any dust from the filter and rinse under running water.
Next, dry it in a well-ventilated area.
Wash thoroughly with water and close when the water dries completely
When the external filter is completely dry, press the middle part on the side to close it, and then insert the internal filter back into the external filter.
Installing External and Internal Filters
Warning!

Using a dryer without inserting an external filter may allow foreign objects to enter the filter inlet, which can cause the machine to malfunction.
Be careful not to add clothes in or take them out of the dryer while the external filter is removed.

Do not open the door during the drying process to pause the operation.

If you open the door or press the pause button to check the laundry during the drying process, drying times will increase as the heating components halt their operation.

※ If the drying time is increased when there are 11 minutes left on the display, the machine is working normally with damp fabric that is yet to be dried.
