To play a video with subtitles from an external device, the video and subtitle files must have the same name and be in the same folder.
If you cannot play the video even though you saved them with the same name in the same folder, you may need to check if the file type is supported for playback.
If it plays on a PC but not on the TV, it may be a file encoded with an unsupported codec.
The video and audio codecs differ depending on the video file extensions.
Video/audio files can only work with your TV when all four requirements (codec, resolution, extension, etc.) are met.
The screen resolution may vary depending on the connection status of the external device.
Try this
① Connect a PC or an external device such as a Blu-ray player to the TV with an HDMI cable.
[HDMI cables] are video- and audio-enabled, so they require no additional audio cable connection.
② Press the [External Input] button on the remote control.
③ Select [HDMI] on the [External Input List] screen.
④ Play the video file on the connected external device.
⑤ Press the [3D] button on the remote control.
⑥ Select the same shape as that shown on the screen.
You can enjoy 3D videos with 3D glasses on.
