LG TVs are equipped with webOS, our core software that is updated and improved every year.
Just like settings vary between different versions of Windows on a PC, the way you configure features on your TV can differ slightly depending on the webOS version.
Checking your TV's webOS version can be helpful.
How can I find my TV's webOS version?
Press the Mute button [
] on your remote control three times in a row. The webOS version will be displayed in the Quick Menu.
➔ If you are using smart functions (by pressing the Home button), the Quick Menu will not appear. Change to an external input source.
If you can't find your webOS version using the method above, you can also check it based on the year you purchased your TV.
➔ The method for checking the webOS version based on the purchase year may vary slightly depending on the model.
