LG Washer & Dryer - How To Activate The Drum Light
Power On the Dryer
Ensure the dryer is plugged in and turned on. Press the Power button to activate the control panel.
Open the Dryer Door
On many LG dryer models, the drum light will automatically turn on when you open the door. If it doesn’t, proceed to the next step.
Locate the Drum Light Button
Look at the dryer’s control panel for a button labeled "Drum Light", "Light", or a bulb icon.
Press the Drum Light Button
Press the button once to turn on the drum light. The light will stay on for a limited time (usually 4–5 minutes) and then automatically turn off.
Close the Door to Turn Off (Optional)
The light may turn off automatically when the door is closed or after a timeout period.
