[LG Installation] How to stack an LG washer and dryer

Troubleshooting

Note: Installation and disassembly must be done by an LG installation technician.
The purpose of this article is to help customers understand installation and disassembly processes.

Try this

First, check the installation space and environment.

1. Maintain the temperature of the laundry area between 5℃ and 35℃
2. Ensure a clearance of 10cm between the stacked unit and the wall. Ensure a clearance of at least 5cm on either side of the unit.
3. A clearance of at least 5cm is required between the top of the stacked unit and the ceiling. A minimum depth of 150㎝ is required.

Self-installation may cause problems like drain hose kinks or blockages.
Installation kits are not sold separately.
For stacked installations, please contact us to have a professional technician complete the setup.

Choose the stacking method appropriate for your washer and dryer models.

There are three possible methods of stacking.

1. Using a universal stacking kit, if the washer and dryer are of different sizes.
(Installation is not possible if the dryer or the stacking kit is not LG manufactured.)

2. Using a drawer type stacking kit, if a 9kg dryer is stacked on top of a regular front load washer.

3. Using a standard stacking kit, if the dryer and washer are of the same size.

Be sure to check the model of your washer and dryer before choosing the stacking kit.
(For models with the detergent dispenser located on top of the unit, use the universal stacking kit.)

The universal stacking kit can be used to stack any model of LG dryer and washer.
(Non-LG models and stacking kits cannot be used.)
Compatible Front Load Washer Dimensions: Height 1.000mm, Width 700mm or less.
Stacked installation of an LG washer and dryer using a universal stacking kit
Stacked installation requires securing the bracket to a wall.
Installation is not possible on Gypsum board (drywall) walls,
as the bracket cannot be properly fixed.
If your floor is uneven, use the included rubber feet to level the stacking kit.
Do not extend the stacking kit legs to adjust the level,
as this may cause noise and vibration during dryer operation.
