[LG WashTower] Circuit breaker suddenly tripped

Troubleshooting

Does the circuit breaker trip when you use the washer and dryer simultaneously?

WashTowers consume a significant amount of power. Using a power strip with other appliances may cause power outages.

Try this.

Is the power plug connected to a power strip?

Does the circuit breaker trip again after unplugging the dryer and resetting the breaker?

If the circuit breaker doesn't reset, turn off the appliance and try resetting the breaker again. If it still doesn't reset, there may be a problem with the building's electrical system. Contact your building management or a qualified electrician. However, if the breaker trips when the appliance is turned on, there may be an issue with the appliance. Contact LG customer service to schedule a repair.

Do other appliances work in the same outlet?

If other appliances don't work in the outlet, the outlet may be faulty. Contact your building management or a qualified electrician to check the outlet.

Did you add detergent to the dryer?

Accidentally adding detergent to the dryer can cause an electrical short and trip the circuit breaker. Please schedule a service visit for an LG technician to inspect your appliance.

Contact LG Customer Service or schedule a service visit online.
