[LG Washer] How do I run the initial installation check and test cycle?
The Installation Check runs a test cycle to verify that the washer is
installed correctly.
This process takes approximately 3 minutes and checks the water inlet
and drain hose connections.
On some models, you must run this mode after the initial installation
before the first use.
If the washer won’t run the first time you use it, run this mode first.
Prepare the washer for the test
Make sure the tub is empty and the water faucets are open, then press [Power]. Do not load any laundry during this test.
Start the test cycle
Press and hold the [Spin] and
[Soil] buttons simultaneously until a 1N s code appears
on the display.
Press [Start/Pause] button to begin the test. The test
runs for appproximately 3 minutes and automatically checks the status of
the water inlet hoses and the drain hose.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Q. What should I do if the error code “IE” appears during the test?

- Q. What should I do if the error code “OE” appears during the test?
-
A. The OE code indicates a drain
issue. Straighten out any kinks in the drain hose, and make sure the

Remove and flush out the drain hose to clear any clogs. Adjust or repair the drain. The maximum drain height is 96 inches (244 cm).
- Q. What is the difference between “1N sO” and “1N sE” on the display?
