[LG Front Load Washer] How do I run a test cycle after installation?

How do I run a test cycle after installation?

After installation, run a test cycle to make sure the washer is operating properly.
This helps you confirm the water inlet connections, leveling, and drain hose installation.

Loading the Washer

Load the washer with 6 thick bath towels (approx. 6 lb / 2.7 kg).
For a more accurate test, run the cycle with laundry rather than with an empty drum.

Selecting the Cycle

Press the [Power] button to turn on the washer.
Turn the knob to select Quick Wash or Rinse+Spin. Select a shorter cycle for a quicker test.
Press the [Start/Pause] button to start the cycle.

  • Models with an LCD knob: Select Quick Wash.

  • Models with a standard knob: Select Rinse+Spin

Make sure the washer fills properly, does not rock or vibrate excessively, and drains well during the spin cycle.

Caution

  • If the washer leaks or vibrates excessively during the test, stop the cycle immediately.
Check the hose connections and ensure the washer is level.
