Why Is Your Robot Vacuum Making a Loud Noise?
- You are using Smart Turbo or Turbo mode.
- Debris is clogging the dustbin or blocking the vacuum.
- The vacuum is cleaning against the flooring grain.
How to Reduce the Noise
Step 1. Change the Cleaning Mode
Turn off Smart Turbo or Turbo mode using the remote control or the LG ThinQ app.
Step 2. Empty the Dustbin and Clean the Rotating Brush
- Turn the dust separator clockwise to remove it from the dustbin, and then clean it.
- Press the rotating brush cover button to remove the cover. Press the release lever, lift out the rotating brush, and remove any tangled hair and debris.
Step 3. Turn the Charging Station 90 Degrees
If the vacuum makes a loud friction noise on laminate flooring, turn the charging station 90 degrees so it cleans in the direction of the flooring grain.
