Why Is the TV Time Incorrect or Not Displayed?
- If your TV is not connected to the internet, it may not receive the correct time automatically.
- The time may be incorrect if the broadcast signal is unstable or Set Automatically is turned off.
How to Set the Date and Time on Your TV
Step 1. Set the Time Automatically
On your TV remote, press Settings (gear icon) or Mute three times in a row.
- 2026 and later TVs (webOS 26 and later): Press Settings on your remote, then select All Settings, System, Time & Timer, and Set Automatically.
- 2021 to 2025 TVs (webOS 6.0 to webOS 25): Press Settings on your remote, then select All Settings, General, System, Time & Timer, and Set Automatically.
- 2020 TVs (webOS 5.0): Press Settings on your remote, then select All Settings, General, Time & Timer, and Set Automatically.
Step 2. Set the Time Manually
- If the automatically set time is incorrect, turn off Set Automatically, then enter the correct date and time manually.
- If an antenna is connected, setting the time manually may affect scheduled programs or broadcast information.
