Is the noise temporarily heard when starting or stopping the outdoor unit?
➔ When the outdoor unit turns on or off, depending on the installation location, noises can be heard.
The closer the indoor unit is to the outdoor unit the relatively louder the noise might get, so it does not mean the production malfunctions or has an issue.
Is the noise intermittent for about 5 minutes?
➔ It is oil recovery operation and it might generate unusual noises once every five minute for the time period of about 8 hours.
The oil recovery operation plays a role in restoring the oil level of the compressor oil by recovering the oil accumulated in the pipe back to the outdoor unit.
While using heating operation, is the noises occurring intermittently?
➔ As the outdoor unit enters the defrosting mode, the direction of refrigerant(gas) will be changed, thus generating noises.
This cycle intends to maintain the product performance for a long time, and it does not mean a malfunction and you can rest assured when you use it.
