To replace the Cat Dome on your LG AeroCat Tower, press the Cat Dome
Base Separation Buttons on both sides at the bottom of the Cat Dome at
the same time, then lift off the current dome.
Next, line up the
front of the new Cat Dome (Status Panel) with the front of the main body
(LG logo), and press it into place until you hear a click.
If the Cat Dome is not assembled correctly, the main body will not power
on for safety reasons. Please make sure the dome is properly aligned and
securely locked into place.
How do I remove and install the Cat Dome?
Removing the current Cat Dome
- 1. Locate the Cat Dome Base Separation Buttons on both sides at the bottom of the Cat Dome.
- 2. Press both buttons at the same time and pull the Cat Dome upward to separate it from the main body.
Installing the new Cat Dome

Before attaching the new Cat Dome, make sure it is aligned
correctly.
- Front of the main body: the side with the LG logo
- Front of the Cat Dome: The side with the Status Panel
- Align the two front sides so they face the same direction, then push the Cat Dome into the main body until you hear a click and it is fully secured.
Placing the Cat Dome Cushion
- Place the Cat Dome Cushion on top of the assembled Cat Dome before use.
What should I check before using it?

Make sure the dome is fully attached:
If you do not hear a click when attaching the Cat Dome, or if it is not assembled properly, the product will not operate. -
Check the alignment carefully:
If you force the Cat Dome into place without aligning it correctly, it may cause a malfunction or damage the product. -
Do not use the Main Unit by itself:
If power is connected to the main body without the Cat Dome attached, the product will not operate for safety reasons. -
Assemble it in a safe location:
To help prevent the product from falling or being damaged, assemble it on a flat surface where you plan to use it.
