Troubleshooting Clean Booster rotation issues on the LG PuriCare™ 360 air purifier

Troubleshooting

If the Clean Booster on your LG PuriCare™ 360 air purifier is not rotating, this is usually normal.
When the operation mode is set to [AI(Smart)] / [Auto], the Clean Booster only rotates automatically when the air quality is Very Poor (red).
To check if it is working properly, switch the mode to [Clean Booster Mode].

Please note

  • Buttons may not respond: In [AI] / [Auto] mode, operation is automatically controlled based on air quality. The [Speed], [Booster Speed], and [Swing] buttons will not respond.
  • Operation delay: When the air quality improves from red/orange to green/blue (Moderate/Good), the Clean Booster will stop rotating and lower automatically after about 5 minutes.

Why isn’t the Clean Booster rotating?

The Clean Booster operates differently depending on the selected mode.

  • [AI(Smart)] / [Auto] mode: The Clean Booster operates automatically based on the overall air quality.
When the air quality improves, it may stop rotating or blowing air.
  • [Clean Booster Mode]: You can manually control the rotation using the remote control or the buttons on the unit.

A. In [AI(Smart)] / [Auto] mode, the Clean Booster rises and rotates only when the air quality is Very Poor (red).
At the Poor (orange) level, it rises but does not rotate, operating at a medium fan speed.
Q. I want the Clean Booster to rotate continuously regardless of the air quality.
A. Change the mode to [Clean Booster Mode], then press the [Swing] or [Booster Speed] button.
This allows it to rotate continuously regardless of the air quality.
