Washing Machine / Dryer error codes and their meaning

Please find below a list of potential error codes and their meaning

 

Error Code

Meaning

'IE' error code

 

Water Inlet error - Pre-set water level not reached within 8 minutes or normal level within 25 minutes since inlet valve operated- Check water pressure.

'DE' error code

Drain Error - Water has not drained within 5 minutes

 

'FE' error code

Overflow error - Water automatically pumped out because too much water is in the tub

 

'PE' error code

Pressure sensor switch Error - pressure sensor switch failure

 

'DE' error code

Door open Error - Door switch failure - occurs when start/pause button is pressed when door is open

'TE' error cod

Heating Error - Thermistor failure

'CE' error code

Current Error - Main PWB assembly (PCB) failure. Stator assembly short circuited

 

'LE' error code

 

Lock Error - Lead wire assembly not connected. Hall sensor failure

 

'AE' error code

Aqua lock - Water leak

'SE' error code

Sensor Error - Wire harness fault. Hall sensor fault. Main PWB assembly (PCB) fault

 

 

'PF' error code

Power Failure - The washer has experienced a power failure. Restart the cycle

'DHE’ error code

Dry Heater Error - Dry heater faulty. Dry fan failure. Blocked duct.

 

'CD' error code

Cooling Down - Cooling down cycle

(This is information code, not an error)

 

'EHE' error code

Heater Error - Heating element wet / short circuit

 

'ELE' error code

Heater Error - Heating element wet / short circuit

 

'BE' error code

Belt Error - Broken belt. Microswitch open circuit

 

'TE1' error code

Heating Error - Low temperature thermistor open circuit

 

'TE2' error code

Heating Error - Low temperature thermistor short circuit

'TE3' error code

 

Heating Error - High temperature thermistor open circuit

 

'TE4' error code

Heating Error - High temperature thermistor short circuit
