    Jaw dropping display at an affordable price!
    the 34UC88 is a great monitor for those interested in entering the Ultrawide QHD display market. Many of the problems such as excessive light bleeding have been worked out in this model and the excellent quality of the display is really evident when viewing this monitor in person, especially when compared to others in a side-by-side comparison. The slight curve of the display combined with the peripheral filling 21:9 aspect ratio has set a new standard for immersion for me during ... read more gaming. I don't think I can go back to a standard 16:9 ratio monitor after having used this for the last few months. Productivity is also greatly increased with the additional space provided with with the display. It's nice to be able to have multiple items on the screen at once and LG's OnScreen Control is well developed and useful. Only missing feature is G-Sync (has FreeSync for AMD users) which I hope to see LG add to future models. Given the horsepower required to drive games at the native resolution of 3440x1440, many users will have high end Nvidia configurations given recent performance benefits of the Pascal architecture. Having the reduction of screen tearing and higher response rate benefits would have been great. With all of that said, this monitor can often be found at roughly half of the cost of competing ultrawide G-sync enabled monitors and I personally could not be happier with the price to value. Great work to LG for designing such an amazing product.

    Limitless Gadgets!
    OMG! This monitor is awesome! It replaced two old monitors I had on my desk. Similar screen real estate with zero physical separation. The "OnScreen Control" application allows you to snap your windows into a window format you select by accessing the template from the Windows system tray (bottom right on Windows Operating Systems). The picture by picture is a nice feature but I tend to switch sources instead. I have not used the "Dual Controller" application yet. I did get a "pluggable" model: USB3-SWITCH2 and two longer USB 3.0 cables in order to switch my keyboard/mouse (which has one USB transponder) from my personal computer to my work computer. LG rulez!

    Dimensions confusing
    Why is it listed as 3.6" high? With Stand (WxHxD) 32.7" x 17.7" x 11.0" (down) – 15.7" (up) Without Stand (WxHxD) 35.3" x 3.6" x 15.5" Shipping Dimensions (WxHxD) 41.5" x 8.1" x 21.2" And why is it listed as wider without a stand? How is it a stand changes width? This is a fantastic monitor but it worries me that they can't get basic stuff like this correct. If they are as sloppy as this in their engineering department, I don't think the monitor will last very long.

    I bought this a month ago, and still amazed how much it increased my productivity now I have more space to code. cleaner desk, .. Gaming works too but I miss Gsync as I have Nvidia 1080 GTX but still it works perfectly..

    What can I say?
    I have owned this monitor for over a month now. I have used it for PC gaming, video editing, and for general business use and it is amazing on all counts. It is like have 3 monitors as far as screen real estate is concerned because until 2 screens, there is not split in the middle. The curve is perfect, the screen picture is amazing, and it has a great set of features.

    First Ultra Wide Curved Display
    I was completely shocked at how the experience with an UltraWide Curved Monitor was so positive. I currently have it connected to my MacBook Air (Thunderbolt), PS4(HDMI), Xbox One(HDMI), and Alienware Area 51(DisplayPort). I could not think of a better setup. The only CON I notice so far is that there is so light bleeding in the lower left corner. It's noticeable when Black but when color shows, I can barely notice it. Love it!

    Outstanding screen, almost flawless
    I got it 2 weeks ago and I love it. LG really learned from issues of previous ultrawides and this one is nearly perfect. Almost no backlight bleed, beautiful picture, slim and light build, aggressive curve. Best ultrawide on the market and I had few before so I know what I am talking about.

    Incredible
    This is the very first Ultra wide Monitor I have ever purchased and honestly I could not be happier. The 2560x1080 plus my EVGA Geforce GTX 1080 SC make everything from reading news article, watching videos and running design programs amazing, multitasking is made so easy with this thing going back to a 16:9 will never happen. If I ever need to upgrade or get a new monitor it will be from LG and a Ultra wide again. Truth be told it is amazing. Thing is huge for a 29in.

    Surface Pro4 and monitor
    I tried two mDP adapters before one worked and allowed me to change the display to 2560X1080 on the Surface Pro4. I originally used an active mDP and the Surface Pro only sent lower resolution setting so the monitor had bars on the left and right. I also used the wireless mdp which I purchased from the Microsoft store and had the same issue. If you want to use the entire LG display at 2560X1080, then you need an inactive mDP. I still have an issue with using screen splits with the Surface ... read more Pro4. It only works if I "show only on display 2" or "extend the display." The problem with that is I get bars on either side and can't use the full resolution of the monitor. The monitor only displays the full resolution if the Surface Pro display is set to "duplicate display." It's the best I'm going to get I guess. I tested a computer with Windows 10 and it worked fine when I selected second screen only. I was able to use the split screen settings from LG. I guess it's just something funky with the Surface Pro. The only drawback is I wish it had built in speakers but I can use the computer, headphones or bluetooth speakers. Overall fantastic display with some quirks when using the Surface Pro.

    Great screen!
    I just purchased my wide monitor finally. I wanted this monitor so bad. I am happy I have made this purchased. I love the style. I have it side by side with my other monitor. I can say its an great addition to my desk. I would have given it 5 stars but I can't get the display resolution to work properly. My screen seems stretched.
