If your refrigerator has a hygiene filter, check if it needs to be replaced.

Are you storing food in the refrigerator without sealing it?
➔ Store food in airtight containers or plastic bags.
If you store unsealed food in the refrigerator, food odors can linger inside.
Is there food residue on the refrigerator shelves or baskets?
➔ Clean the inside of the refrigerator with a soft cloth and water.
When cleaning the inside of the refrigerator, wipe it with a soft cloth and water.
If you use a mild
detergent, wipe it again with a clean, damp cloth to prevent stains.
Has it been 12 months since you replaced the hygiene filter?
➔ Purchase and replace the hygiene filter.
If the filter cover in the refrigerator says [Hygiene Filter] or [Hygiene+ (Hygiene Plus)], it means the filter has expired and needs to be replaced.
For some models, the display will show [Replace] when it is time to replace the filter, so replace it at that time.
Is the refrigerator temperature set too high, causing odor particles to spread more easily?
➔ Press the [Refrigerator Temperature] button to lower the refrigerator temperature.
If there is an odor coming from the refrigerator, it may be because the refrigerator temperature is set too high,
causing odor particles to spread more easily.
This is similar to how the aroma of hot coffee is more noticeable than that of iced coffee.
You can adjust the refrigerator temperature between 0-6°C using the [Refrigerator Temperature] button, so try
setting it lower.
