The steam function is a function that cooks by adding steam to the oven, range, and fermentation functions, and in the case of automatic cooking, the amount of steam sprayed is automatically set so that food is cooked moist. The manual steaming is great for steaming or blanching vegetables or fish.
1. Set at least 2 minutes for steam cooking.
2. Before carrying out steam cooking, wash the water tank thoroughly, fill the water tank up to the MAX mark, and insert the tank fully before use.
(If the water tank is not fully inserted or if the water is insufficient, the sound of air being sucked in will be heard.)
3. If water is not supplied after the steam function is activated, text saying [Refill Water] will appear along with a melody playing after about 3 minutes.
When carrying out steam cooking that last for more than 30 minutes, the water tank will need refilling after 30 minutes.
(For some automatic cooking with less steam used, the melody for refilling water will not be heard.)
4. The steam cleaning function is effective for removing grease resulting from the cooking of fish or meat.
(Select the Multi Clean - Washing function to clean.)
5. If steam cooking is carried out frequently, white deposits may appear inside the oven due to the calcium and magnesium contained in the water.
Such white deposits are harmless to the human body and can be effectively removed by wiping with a wet towel dampened with vinegar.
