[LG electric range] I am curious about the environments which enable installation

Troubleshooting

Do you wish to install your electric range in a safe space?
Do you wish to know about the environmental requirements for the installation of an electric range?

When LG Electronics' electric range becomes hot, a cooling fan operates automatically to discharge the heat from inside the product to the outside.
At this time, if there is no free space around the electric range, heat cannot escape properly and the performance of the product may deteriorate.
In addition, if it is installed near products that generate heat themselves, such as other electric ranges, gas ranges, and cutting board sterilizers, accidents may occur.

Try this

Install the electric range on an even, solid, and flat surface.

➔ Cooking utensils or containers may slip or fall if the electric range is installed on an uneven or sloping floor.
Also, please note that if the electric range is installed on top of a product that vibrates, such as a dishwasher, it may not work properly or it could lead to an accident.

It is recommended to install an electric range on a flat floor surface.

Secure sufficient free space around the electric range.

➔ Keep a distance of more than 50mm between the electric range and walls, and keep a distance of more than 600mm from a range hood.
Otherwise, heat may not be dispersed properly, and parts may malfunction or product performance may deteriorate.
Also, be careful as lighting fixtures may be deformed by heat or accidents may occur.

If the oven is installed below the electric range, leave at least 2cm of space between the bottom of the electric range and the top of the oven.

Connect the power plug of the electric range to an exclusive power outlet on the wall.

➔ If an electric range which consumes a lot of power and other electronic products are connected to the one power strip, the capacity of the power strip becomes insufficient.
Connect the power plug of just the electric range to its own wall power outlet.

Connecting the power plug to a single wall outlet
Warning!
Using a wall power outlet or a power strip with no grounding terminal may cause product malfunction or an electric shock.
If the power outlet does not have a grounding terminal, make sure to ask a technician to replace it with an outlet with a grounding terminal before connecting the power cord of the electric range.
