Troubleshooting

During the monsoon season, humidity and moisture levels are higher than usual.
This increases the risk of electrical leakage and shock, so extra care is needed when using electronic devices, including your TV.


  • Never touch a power strip or outlet with a wet towel or wet hands.
    Always turn off the power and dry your hands before touching any electrical outlets or power strips to ensure safety.
  • If thunderstorms or lightning are forecast, unplug your TV's power cord from the outlet to prevent damage.
    Never touch a power outlet during a thunderstorm.
  • If you feel it is dangerous or unsafe to attempt a repair yourself, please contact LG Electronics Service for assistance.

Unplug your TV's power cord from the outlet if you will not be watching it for an extended period, such as during a vacation.

If there is a lot of dust accumulated in the ventilation holes on the back of your TV, clean it with a vacuum cleaner.
This helps prevent malfunctions and hazards caused by trapped moisture and heat.
Be careful not to tip over the TV or damage the screen when cleaning.
