Causes and Symptoms
- Audio is heard from the TV, but no picture is displayed.
- The cable connected to the external device seems loose or damaged.
Try this.
Adjust the volume using the TV remote
➔ If the volume bar appears normally, check the cable connected to the external device.
If the volume bar does not appear, we recommend contacting LG Support for assistance.
Reconnect the HDMI Cable
Turn off the TV and the external device. Then, unplug the HDMI cable from the back of the TV and reconnect it
securely.
If the HDMI cable can be unplugged from the external device, unplug and reconnect it as well.
We recommend using a certified HDMI cable (version 2.0) to connect your TV and external device.
Reset the Set-Top Box
If the set-top box menu or broadcast information is displayed, but the video is not, reset the set-top box.
A software error can sometimes prevent video display.
Turn off the power switch on the back of the set-top box, wait about 5 seconds, and then turn it back on.
If "No Signal" appears on the screen, contact LG customer support for assistance.
