Is the refrigerator door not sealing properly due to unseen debris on the gasket?

1. 1. Wet a towel with water.
2. 2. Microwave the towel to create a steamy towel.
   (It should be hot enough to require wearing rubber gloves. You can also soak the towel in hot water.)
3. 3. Thoroughly wipe all four sides of the door gasket.
4. 4. Reheat the towel in the microwave and repeat steps 2-3 two to three times.
5. 5. After cleaning, dry the gasket with a dry towel to prevent condensation.
6. 6. Keep the door closed for at least two hours to allow the gasket to seal properly.

Is the refrigerator door not sealing properly because the gasket is loose?

If a section of the gasket is loose or detached, press it firmly into the groove on the refrigerator door.
