Let's find out more.
The perimeter of the refrigerator's front and the partition between the freezer and refrigerator compartments have a heater wire (heat dissipation pipe/hot line) to prevent condensation.
This heater wire is embedded where the gasket meets the refrigerator, as shown in the image below.
The heater may feel especially warm immediately after installation or during summer, as the compressor runs longer. This is normal.
Try this.
Are the sides or back of the refrigerator warm?
➔ Ensure sufficient ventilation around the refrigerator.
Install your refrigerator in a well-ventilated area, leaving at least 5cm (2 inches) of space between the refrigerator and the wall.
This allows the heat naturally generated during operation to dissipate.
If there is dust on the back of the refrigerator, remove it to improve ventilation.
Is this a new refrigerator? Or was it recently moved and turned off for an extended period?
➔ The compressor generates heat as it works to cool the refrigerator.
It will generate less heat once the refrigerator is fully cooled.
The compressor works harder and generates more heat when it needs to cool the refrigerator quickly.
It will also work harder and generate more heat in hot weather or if the refrigerator door is opened frequently, causing cold air to escape.
